What does BMW have in store for the Frankfurt Motor Show? A small preview of things to come was recently seen cruising the streets of Chicago, and we here at World Imports USA are quite thrilled to be able to tell you exactly what it is.
Recently, an eager onlooker caught the new BMW i3 concept on camera, following a camera dolly mounted truck down Wacker Drive in Chicago. Though some people may question why the BMW i3 was being filmed in Chicago specifically, we must say that the bustling streets really do make for an ideal setting. After all, a pure electric vehicle like the i3 lends itself very well to this kind of environment.
As for what they were filming? That could be any number of things, from a promotional video for their website, to a premier video for the vehicle's official debut at Frankfurt. Only time will tell what BMW's actual motive was here.
All we know is that the BMW i3 looked pretty good driving through the mean streets of Chicago. But, we honestly think that it doesn't look half as good as you will when test driving any of the new Lotus models or used luxury and exotic cars that we carry on our lot. If you'd like to arrange a test drive for any of the vehicles that we carry, then be sure to either dial (904) 998-9992 or to submit a contact form online.
But, if you'd rather wait for the i3 to hit, then be sure to stay tuned for more information on it, coming soon. So far we know that the all new BMW i3 is expected to feature a 170-horsepower, electric engine, a max torque output of 184 lbs.-ft., and a driving range of 80-100 miles per charge. This is certainly one model that we'd love to show off alongside the rest of our used BMW lineup here at 11650 Beach Blvd Jacksonville, FL 32246.
However, if you'd simply like to do a little research on models like the Lotus Evora, BMW 530, or BMW X5, then be sure to check out our new and used inventory pages, as well as our showroom page online. Once there, you'll find a wide range of information on specific models, financing, and even parts and service. And, remember to stay tuned for more luxury import car news, coming soon!
