The automotive experts at World Imports USA aren't the only ones who love a good Porsche. The exotic offerings from the German automaker are thoroughly enjoyed throughout the world, and the construction of a sixth showroom in India proves it.
That's right, the people at Porsche recently opted to build any entirely new showroom floor in Ahmedabad, India, following the success of the others in Chennai, Chandigarh, New Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. This new dealership is even more impressive, however, because it marks the largest growth that the automaker has seen in the region to date.
"We are proud to be selected by Porsche to represent its operations in this key region," says Akur Jain, CEO of Porsche Centre Ahmedabad. "Our experienced and dynamic team is committed to delivering exceptional Sales and After Sales service on par with Porsche global standards."1
Construction began on the new Porsche showroom in February of this year. The major expansion offers the German automaker 42,000 square feet with which to show off its lineup of vehicles, including models like the Porsche Cayenne and Boxster. Meanwhile, another 30,000 square feet of space will be dedicated to a new service center, much like the one you'll find here at 11650 Beach Blvd Jacksonville, FL 32246.
"Ahmedabad and Surat are very strong markets in Gujarat," explains Ashish Chordia, Chief Executive of Precision Cars India Private Limited. "In fact, the whole of Gujarat offers a good opportunity for the luxury segment in automobiles. Plus, in India, the average life span of a luxury car for an Indian customer is just two years. While we have received 20 orders so far in Ahmedabad, by December 2012 we expect to do sales in triple digits from Gujarat."2
