In order to determine its residual value, Edmunds had to determine what value the vehicle would have after give years based on body type and what the sales-weighted average MSRP. After the evaluation, Edmunds dubbed the vehicle as the victor of the $35K-$45K Coupe category.
The editors at Edmunds.com really took a liking to the German automaker who said that, "regardless of body style, the 2013 BMW 3 Series is an impressively well-rounded and highly desirable entry-level luxury car."1
