We take pride in the care that's put into making the Audi models that we share here at World Imports USA. The Audi company's proven to please, especially with last year's sales record of 139,310 units. This can only mean that Audi needs skilled technicians to keep up the work. That's how the Veterans to Technicians program began.

Audi developed the program with CALIBRE Systems Inc. which is aimed to support the Department of Defense as well as the Department of Veterans Affairs Veteran/military transition efforts. Veterans with automotive skills are definitely needed, and the company is also open to veterans of other various trades such as aviation, power generation, welding, electronics, and maritime and hydraulic systems.

"There are tremendous opportunities to match Veterans who have worked on the world's most sophisticated systems with dealerships delivering the world's most sophisticated systems with dealerships delivering the world's most sophisticated cars," Program Manager of CALIBRE Bernie Hyland says. "There should be no shortage of high-energy, experienced, and technically knowledgeable Veterans who possess a strong maintenance background and are willing to step up to the challenge of a rewarding new career and push their performance to the limits with Audi." 1

Sales are intended to shoot up to 20,000 annually by 2020, so the program couldn't have come at a more opportune time, and they've got just the crowd to complete the task.

What do you think about Audi's move? We are confident that their dedication and expertise will largely contribute to the success of future Audi models. Feel free to share your own thoughts with us.
