The world of golf is full of class and luxury, and within this world one tournament has always reigned supreme for its beauty, tradition and the skill required to win.
Every year one winner gets to dawn the highly sought after green jacket at The Masters in the Augusta, Georgia. Two weeks ago the best golfers in the world teed off here on the beautiful green landscape of Augusta National, and a few of these players represented Mercedes-Benz.
Mercedes-Benz Ambassadors included the reigning champ Adam Scott, as well as Louis Oosthuizen and Martin Kaymer. Our brand caught up with them before they teed off, check out their thoughts in the video below:
Rolling up to the legendary club house at Augusta in their Mercedes-Benz models these three competitors looked poised to hit the links. However, as golf is a tricky game, none of them ended up at the top of the leaderboard and in the green jacket.
Bubba Watson took home the top spot this year, while defending champ Adam Scott finished tied for 14th, leading our brands ambassadors. Oosthuizen and Kaymer ended the tournament 25th and T31st respectively, which still is not too shabby considering the quality of the overall field.
Each year we tune in to The Masters here in Jacksonville, Florida, as golf is a major part of our states livelihood.
