Jean-Marc Gales is no stranger to the motor industry, dedicating his full effort to the growth of Lotus. Since his time as CEO, he spearheaded new developments to not only maintain the company’s status as a high-performance automaker but to also exceed goals laid forth by his predecessors. The latest release of the Lotus 3-Eleven and the Lotus Elise Cup 250 at the famed Hethel factory in Hethel, United Kingdom, is exemplary of the automaker’s commitment to excellence. This morning Lotus issued a press release announcing a limited edition Evora 400 in honor of the Hethel Factory's 50th anniversary.

Lotus cars are all over the world nowadays. Yet despite its international appeal, Lotus hasn't forgotten its roots. Today, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain is celebrating her 90th birthday and Lotus has joined in the celebration on Twitter.
