Lotus in back, after five years of a financial fiasco for the esteemed British sports car maker. Road & Track recently had the opportunity to take the all-new Lotus Evora 400 out for a spin.
Fasten your seatbelts. This is the fastest production Lotus road car ever. The 400 refers to the horsepower count of the Toyota Camry-derived V6, which adds a charge cooler to an Edelbrock supercharger, ratcheting torque up to 302 pound-feet between 3,500-6,500 rpm. The Evora is at its best at 5000 and above.
